Bonjour,

I have just moved to Marseille with work and will be here till September. I sail a Musto Skiff in England and was thinking of moving it to the South of France with me.

Can anyone recommend a sailing club near Marseille?

I also see it as an opportunity to promote the class in France and would be happy to give people a go in it.

Bonjour Dan and welcome aboard this forum!
Unfortunately, there are very few Musto skiffs here in France and I haven't heard about any in the South (but I may be wrong about that...). However that are quite a lot of RS 700 maybe not in Marseille but not so far. And many of them would be glad to sail with you I presume.
I let people from the South advice you about the best club where to sail near Marseille as I am not a specialist and as I actually live in Nantes!

Sorry, no good solution to leave a musto on Marseille this summer.

je navigue en rs600 au nord de l'etang de berre. le club n'est pas tres 'classieux' et je navigue souvent seul en skiff mais le site est joli, bien vente et les gars du club sont sympathiques.

There might also be Bandol (between Marseille and Toulon), where some of the sailing school teachers sail an 18 footer when they can (they also have a laser 5000) ?

Moreover, they're very nice people!

Malheureusement, je crois pas qu'il y ait des masses de places à Bandol, c'est dommage, le club est très sympa, et l'équipe de moniteurs supers cool ...
